This is the most popular, commonly used type of door. The glass door leaf is suspended on the door frame on a pair of hinges, and closing is ensured by a typical lock with a handle, less commonly with a knob. They are very functional and relatively tight.

Glass Pivot Doors

This type of door is gaining more and more popularity. They do not require a door frame, which ensures the cleanliness of the form and are easy to use on a daily basis, as they open in both directions. However, due to the technically necessary gaps around them, they are not very tight. On the other hand, no handle is needed, simple grips are enough.

Sliding glass doors

They require space on the wall onto which the door wing slides when opened, so a significant portion of it must remain empty and cannot be utilized. If this is a problem, it is possible to plan for a "pocket" in the wall during the design stage, where the door wing will hide when the door is open. 

For technical reasons, such doors are not airtight, and daily use is not as convenient as with swing doors. For these reasons, they are mainly recommended for use with infrequent opening/closing.
